J&J'S SHINE IN FLORIDA SPEEDWEEKS

McKENZIE, TN (February 18) - With Sunday's Daytona 500 concluding another Florida Speedweeks, J&J Auto Racing teams proved to be on top of their game in early season action. Three J&J drivers won four of the first five All-Star Circuit of Champions feature events on Florida soil and the win list also included an open event triumph at East Bay Raceway.

"We're thrilled our teams got off to a good start," admitted Jack Elam, founder and president of J&J Auto Racing. "Our staff has done a great job of keeping up with the demand of our customers. The calendar doesn't seem to matter anymore as we've been busy non-stop. The guys in Australia and New Zealand did a great job for J&J and to see so many of our teams start strong in Florida has all of us excited about the 2008 season."

Donny Schatz won a pair of All-Star events at Volusia Speedway Park (VSP) making his debut driving the Tony Stewart Racing No. 15 Armor All/Chevy/ParkerStore J&J. The two-time defending Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint series champion scored five top four finishes at VSP, including a pair of second place finishes in World of Outlaws action.

Fred Rahmer claimed an All-Star victory at North Florida Speedway and a feature win at East Bay driving the Chad and Jen Clemens owned No. 51 Miller Brothers Chevrolet sponsored J&J.

Sam Hafertepe, Jr. opened the 410 season by picking up his first career 410 sprint car victory at North Florida Speedway versus the All-Star Circuit of Champions.

Lance Dewease had a solid 10 days of action in the "Sunshine State" aboard the Catoctin Motorsports No. 30c Advanced Development Services sponsored J&J that included six top four finishes in nine starts. Dewease is the All-Star Circuit of Champions Points leader after five events and will race at several facilities in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Tennessee before the All-Stars return to action in late April at Eldora Speedway.

Ricky Logan continued his winning ways in New Zealand with a win and a runner-up finish driving his No. 10 Lucas Oil sponsored J&J. On February 9th, he drove to victory at Western Springs Speedway in Auckland, New Zealand and on Valentine's Day, he finished second at Ruapuna Speedway.
