DEWEASE, HEIMBACH, JENKINS VICTORIOUS FOR J&J

McKENZIE, TN (April 8) - Pennsylvania is home to some of the best sprint car racers in the world and a pair of them drove J&J Auto Racing sprint cars to victory lane this past weekend. Lance Dewease topped the All Star Circuit of Champions while Blane Heimbach helped his car-owner Jeff Creasy reach the 200-victory club. Arkansas racer Lewis Jenkins, Jr. was another J&J racer that was a feature winner this past weekend.

ALL-STARS

Lance Dewease picked up his first feature win of the season on Saturday night at Attica Raceway Park by defeating the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions field in northwestern Ohio. Dewease qualified second in the 42-car field aboard the Catoctin Motorsports Advance Development Services sponsored No. 30c J&J. He started fourth and battled several drivers for the lead during the 30-lap race that was slowed by a few cautions. Following a lap 22 caution, Dewease took command and went on to win the race to extend his lead in the series standings.

Ed Lynch, Jr. raced his No. 2L J&J from 13th to finish fifth while Paul McMahan brought the No. 0 J&J home tenth after starting 16th.

SELINSGROVE SPEEDWAY

Blane Heimbach broke his leg in a racing accident last August and on Saturday night, he made his triumphed return by winning at Selinsgrove Speedway. The win not only marked his return to the track, but helped his car owner Jeff Creasy earn his 200th victory in racing.

Heimbach started the Beavertown Block Company, Goff Racing, Creasy Signs sponsored No.12 J&J fifth and took the lead on the fifth circuit. Heimbach would lead the next 20 laps en route to his 22nd career victory at the track.

I-30 SPEEDWAY

Lewis Jenkins was the man to beat on Saturday night at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. Jenkins drover Brad Harp's No. 7h J&J to victory in the 30-lap race.

Other strong J&J racers finishes:

Fred Rahmer narrowly missed picking up his third win of the season at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night. Rahmer raced the Clemens owned No. 51 C&S Lawn & Landscape/Miller Brothers Chevrolet sponsored J&J from his 18th starting position to second and tried a last corner slide job for the lead, but came up just short at the finish line.

Doug Esh was another J&J racer that charged from the back as he raced the Leach/Pancho's Racing Products No. 30 J&J from 16th to finish fifth. Craig Keel finished eighth in the Pearl No. 9 J&J.
