J&J RACERS CONTINUE SIZZLING ON THE TRACK

McKENZIE, TN - (July 23) - J&J Auto Racing teams from around the country delivered several wins last weekend. Terry Gray led the way with a pair of wins while Mark Dobmeier, DJ Foos, Blane Heimbach, Randy Martin, Steven Lines, Skip Jackson, Donny Schatz, Mike Miller, Michael Heckman, Tommy Bryant and Cole Duncan all posted Sprint car wins in J&J Auto Racing cars.

RIVER CITIES SPEEDWAY

Mark Dobmeier picked up his sixth win of the season at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D. on Friday night. Dobmeier took the lead with five laps remaining in Dave Lunstra's No. 13 J&J and went on to claim his 12th feature win of the season.

ATTICA RACEWAY PARK

DJ Foos got his first sprint car victory last Friday night at Attica Raceway Park in a J&J. Foos, a rookie in the 305 class, drove his family-owned sprinter to the win.

SELINSGROVE SPEEDWAY

Blane Heimbach continued his recent success by winning his third Jack Gunn Memorial at Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday night. Heimbach drove the GOFF Racing No. 12 J&J past Pat Cannon on the 25th circuit of the 30-lap URC/358 Sprint Car Challenge Race to score the win.

The victory was his third of the season and 24th overall at Selinsgrove. Heimbach is one win away from tying Chad Layton as the track's all-time leading 358 sprint car winner.

Davey Sammons drove Pat and Cathy Palladino's No. 99 J&J to a 13th place finish.

WINGED OUTLAW WARRIORS

Randy Martin debuted a new J&J Saturday night at 24 Raceway in Moberly, Missouri, and scored his 36th career Winged Outlaw Warriors feature win. Martin withstood several challenges for the lead to score the victory in the No. 14 Diamond Pet Foods sponsored J&J with Kistler power.

USCS - Crossville Raceway

A pair of J&J racers swept the O'Reilly USCS sanctioned winged sprint car "Night of Thunder" at Crossville Raceway this past Friday night. Terry Gray raced his No. 10 Rislone/Bar’s Leaks sponsored J&J with Wesmar power into the lead ahead of Steven Lines, who set quick time in the JSM Enterprises No. 23 J&J, on the opening lap of the evenings first 20-lap feature. Gray led every lap to pick up the feature win. Lines finished third.

Steven Lines raced the JSM No. 23 J&J from the fifth starting spot in the second 20-lap feature event and into the lead on lap six. Once in front, Lines, who calls Sydney, Australia home, didn't relinquish the lead and went on to score his second USCS victory during his American tour. Terry Gray came home third in his No. 10 J&J.


USCS - Volunteer Speedway

Terry Gra y made it two wins in two nights by taking Saturday night's 30-lap O'Reilly USCS Outlaw Thunder feature at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn. Gray started the evening by setting a new track record in his No. 10 Rislone/Bar’s Leaks sponsored J &J with Wesmar power.

Gray caught early race leader Steven Lines in the JSM No. 23 J&J on lap seven, and pulled away. His lead was cut several times because of cautions, but in the end he wasn't to be denied.

Lines finished in fourth.

KNOXVILLE RACEWAY

Skip Jackson picked up career win number 25 at the famed Knoxville Raceway on Saturday night. Jackson wheeled the No. 2 J&S Auto Sports J&J from the pole position and led the feature early, but had to make a final lap pass to pick up the victory.

Mark Dobmeier brought Dave Lunstra's No. 13 J&J home in fourth and Lynton Jeffrey finished eighth in his No. 12 J&J.

WORLD OF OUTLAWS - WILLIAMS GROVE SPEEDWAY

Donny Schatz picked up his 11th World of Outlaws "A" feature event of 2008 and 15th career triumph at Williams Grove Speedway on Saturday night. Schatz led the final 10 laps of the Cleveland Brothers Summer Nationals to pick up the $25,000 first place prize driving Tony Stewart Racing's No. 15 Armor All/Chevy/Parkerstore sponsored J&J.

Fred Rahmer finished fourth driving the Chad and Jenn Clemens owned No. 51 Miller Brothers Chevrolet sponsored J&J. Doug Esh brought the Pancho Racing Products/Dick Leach Racing No. 30 J&J home s ixth.

WAYNESFIELD MOTORSPORTS PARK

Mike Miller won his first feature event of the season on at Waynesfield Motorsports Park. Miller started on the front row and took the lead on lap 18 in his No. 82 J&J.

PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY

Michael Heckman picked up a feature event win and also a second place finish Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway. In the make-up feature, Heckman started the No.8H Heckman Tree Farm sponsored J&J seventh and took the lead on lap 15. In the regular program, Heckman won his heat, dash and started eighth and finished second in the feature event.

SKYLINE SPEEDWAY

Cole Duncan picked up his first win of the season at Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio. The 16 year-old drove the No. 22 Bobby Labonte Racing, Motorcity Auto Transport, Wolfden Carbon Fiber Products sponsored J&J to the victory.

ASCS GULFPORT REGION

Tommy Bryant snared his first career American Sprint Car Series Gulf South Region feature victory by wiring the field in Saturday night's 25-lap main event at the Gator Motorplex.

Racing into the lead from his fourth starting position in the early stages, Bryant fought off Scottie McDonald to secure the win aboard David Miller's 105 Machine-powered B&M Jr. No. 21T J&J.

BENTON RACE PARK

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. picked up a sprint car victory on Friday, July 11 at Benton Race Park in Benton, Missouri. Stenhouse drove his father's No. 99 J&J to victory.

Other strong finishes -

Rick Wilson finished second driving his J&J in the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints race at Brockville Ontario Speedway and Alain Bergeron finished seventh....Matt Clevenger raced his No. 31 J&J to a second place finish in the Super Sprints of Texas event at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas....Bob Howard raced to a fourth place finish in his No. 49 J&J at Clinton County Speedway on Friday night. Tim Shaffer finished fourth in the Call Motorsports No. 83 J&J at Findlay, Ohio with the All-Star Circuit of Champions...Tony Wilson scored a pair of top-10 finishes driving the Bailey Transport sponsored No. 10w J&J with the Mi dwest All-Stars first coming home seventh at West Tennessee Motor Speedway and then ninth at the Thunder Hill Speedway.
