FARR CONTINUES BLISTERING PACE IN AUSTRALIAN SPRINT ACTION
McKENZIE, TN (Jan. 22) - Robbie Farr isn't giving up on his chase for the coveted Australian World Series Sprintcar championship. By continuing to win races behind the wheel of the Eastcoast Pipeline J&J, Farr is keeping the pressure on. Last weekend, Farr swept a pair of WSS races at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway near Sydney, and on Friday night, he captured the Kings Challenge feature victory at Borderline Speedway.
World Series Sprintcars Round 11 - Night 1- Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway
Robbie Farr entered the Performance Wholesale World Series Sprintcars Round 11 on a mission and by the end of the night; everyone knew exactly what it was. Farr was dominant all night in the No. 7q Eastcoast Pipeline J&J. He set fast time and led all 20 laps on the rugged surface that challenged all comers.
World Series Sprintcars Round 11 - Night 2 - Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway
Robbie Farr proved his versatility behind the wheel of a sprint car on consecutive nights at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway. One night after dominating the field on a heavy, rough surface, he showed his skills on a dry-slick track. Farr wheeled the No. 7q Eastcoast Pipeline J&J past American Jason Sides. Once in front, Farr continued to get faster posting the race's fastest lap midway through the 30-lap event.
KINGS Challenge - Borderline Speedway
For the third time in his career, Robbie Farr earned the Kings Challenge victory at Borderline Speedway. Farr raced the No. 7q Eastcoast Pipeline J&J from the second starting position to victory. He previously won the very competitive event in 2006 and 2008.
Farr qualified second in the field of 41 cars. He won the first heat race and charged from 11th to fifth in heat five. A second place finish in the Pole Shootout put him on the front row for the feature event.
Steve Lines raced David Challon's No. 45 HA Young.com/Camden Neon Signs sponsored J&J from 13th to a ninth place finish.
