Another Weekend Of Wins For Five J&J Auto Racing Teams

It was another solid weekend for five J&J Auto Racing teams. Derek Hagar earned his fourth win of the season while Tyler Drueke and Ken Duke, Jr. picked up their second. Martin Edwards and Trey Starks claimed their first wins of their race seasons.

Eagle Nebraska native, Tyler Drueke had to earn his feature win Saturday, April 23rd at Eagle Raceway. With a first lap 360-spin by Drueke, a complete restart was issued, and Drueke fell into the second. With 5-laps to go. Drueke found his grove and made the pass around leader, Joe Danley and drove away with the win.

Snatching his second win at I-30 Speedway on April 23, Derek Hagar went on recorded stating him, and his team were “terrible early” in the feature event. Slated to start third, Hagar fell back to fifth early on during the race. Hagar took advantage of a mid-race caution flag to regroup and feel the track a little bit better. Quickly after the restart, Hagar was able to regain several positions before making the battle for the lead with Cody Garner on lap eight. Having a balanced car and the track coming together at the right time, Hagar went on to claim his fourth victory in the No. 9JR sprint car.

Ken Duke, Jr. scored his second win at Hagerstown Speedway. Taking the lead on lap 4 of the 25-lap feature was able to hold of the field for twenty-one laps.
