Solid Weekend for Six J&J Auto Racing Teams
Six J&J Auto Racing teams celebrated in victory lane over the weekend of April 30th. Five teams chalked up their first wins of the season while Mick D'Agostino collected his third win at New Egypt Speedway with the North wingless sprints.
East Tennessee's New Place to Race, I-75 Speedway, hosted a two-day race weekend with the United Sprint Car Series. Eastern Tennessee fans were able to see two J&J Auto Racing chassis in victory lane with Morgan Havener on night one and Jared Horstman on night two.
Winning in a dramatic fashion, Cap Henry won a barn burn at the flag stand at Sharon Speedway in Ohio. Henry and the No.4 of Lane Racing started outside front row and fell back to third halfway through the 30 lap feature event. Fighting his way back up to second through lap traffic, Henry was able to utilize the leader of Marks, missing his line off of turn 4 and made the dramatic pass at the checkered flag. It was a race for the All Star Circuit of Champions history books.
Josh Weller went back to victory lane for the first time since 2019 and picking up his first career feature win at Williams Grove with the United Racing Club. Weller is the 2019 URC Champion.
