Serbus Takes Three; Haudenschild Wins Big
Seven J&J Auto Racing teams earned victories over May 13-18 across the Midwest. Matt Foos found victory lane for the first time this season at Attica Raceway Park with the AFCS 305 division.
Clint Garner and Scotty Johnson go back-to-back at the Sprint Car Capital of the World, Knoxville Raceway. Clint Garner, who has 90 360 wins under his belt, won an 18-lap barn burner of a feature on Saturday night. In the Pro Sprint class, Scotty Johnson earned his 15-lap feature win against second place of Groenendyk, and the third of Mayberry. Johnson was able to keep his composure for his second win in a row.
Making an impressive three wins in a row, Trevor Serbus took the checkered at Arlington Raceway on Friday night and Huset's Speedway on Saturday night.
Sheldon Haudenschild won at Bridgeport Speedway in dramatic fashion. Starting on the outside of the front row for the 25-lap feature, Sheldon shot out to the early lead over Schatz. By midway through the feature, Sheldon and second place, Kyle Larson trade sliders after sliders for the lead. Larson was able to make the pass around Sheldon from a slight bobble in lap traffic. Larson was able to keep the lead for only four laps before the final yellow flag of the night took place. Sheldon blasted around Larson on the restart for the win. The duo exchanged the lead nearly 20 times in 15 laps.
