Three Winners; Starks Claims Track Championship

Three J&J Auto Racing teams gained wins over the weekend in the Midwest region of the United States. Sam Hafertepe, Jr., Jamey Ogston, and Randy Martin saw victories while Trey Starks collected his first Skagit Speedway Track Championship.

TREY STARKS

From Puyallup Washington, Trey Starks earned his first Skagit Speedway 410ci Track Championship with 12 victories on his 2022 racing season. From all of us at J&J Auto Racing, we'd like to congratulate Trey and his family-owned T&C Concepts No.55 team on a very successful season.

SAM HAFERTEPE, JR.

Sunnyvale TX's Sam Hafertepe, Jr. and his Hills Racing/Heidbreder Foundation No.15 winged sprint car team gained their fifth win of the season and third with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series at Lakeside Speedway. In dominating fashion, Sam led flag-to-flag of the 25-lap feature on a Thursday night. Sam currently sits third on the all-time wins list with the ASCS National Tour.

RANDY MARTIN

Twice is nice for Randy Martin as he goes back-to-back with wins at Lake Ozark Speedway with the POWRi LOS 305 Sprint series. Starting in the seveth position in the LOS 305 Sprint 20-lap A-Main, Randy got to work early and would outduel his competition to collect his second win and seventh overall at Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday, September 9th.

JAMEY OGSTON

Jamey earned his first win of his 2022 racing campaign with the Northern Renegades Series at Gondik Law Speedway. A flawless victory by the youngun on the first night of the 34th Annual Northern Nationals.
