Racing Season Blooms With Victories For Drueke, Horstman, And Townsend
Springtime and warmer temperatures are in full effect across much of the United States, and the racing season is already in full bloom. Tyler Drueke and Jared Horstman have kicked off their 2025 season with impressive victories, all behind the wheel of a J&J Auto Racing chassis, while Christopher Townsend has earned his second win of the season.
Hailing from Eagle, NE, hometown hero and 2023 IMCA RaceSavers Champion Tyler Drueke grabbed the win by passing two competitors. He achieved his victory with family and friends in tow to support him.
Jared Horstman came out of the off-season swinging. In the first race of his season with the Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) at Crystal Motor Speedway, he secured a thrilling victory. After taking the checkered flag, a close escape and knocking out his front end at the flag stand made for an exciting victory celebration for Jared and his No. 17 team.This win marks Horstman breaking his winless drought from 2023 with GLSS.
Christopher Townsend from Tarkington, TX, returned to Victory Lane for the second time this season at 105 Motor Speedway in Cleveland, TX, with the IMCA RaceSaver Series. Christopher advanced nine positions in the 20-lap feature event.
