Trey Starks' Big Win and More
What a great weekend for seven J&J Auto Racing Teams from June 18th through June 21st, spanning races across the entire United States. Kicking off the wins was Buddy Schweibinz as he took the checkered flag at Bridgeport New Jersey with the United Racing Club Series (URC).This victory marked Buddy's first career win with the URC Series and his second win of the season. Jared Horstman etched his 100th career win in the record books at I-96 Speedway with the Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) on June 20th. Notably, Jared now has four wins under his belt this season. Bruno Richard and Mick D'Agostino both secured their second wins of the season. Bruno triumphed behind the wheel of a 602 Crate, while Mick claimed his victory with the New Egypt Wingless Series (NEWS). Kelby Watt was victorious with the IRA Sprint Series, hoisting the Road America Challenge Trophy at Plymouth Dirt Track on Saturday, June 21st.The man of the hour, Trey Starks, collected over a $111,000 payday at Skagit Speedway by winning 53rd annual Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup presented by Angel of the Winds Casino Resort event. Starks' family-owned team stayed on top of the points lead during the first two nights of competition. Thanks to his points, Starks scored a great starting position, and the rest is history. Starks becomes the third Skagit Speedway Triple Crown Champion. Matt Farnham got his first win of the year with the Southern Ontario Sprint Series at Merrittville Speedway.
