McKenzie, TN - September 18, 2025 - As temperatures start to cool and the season begins to change, three J&J Auto Racing teams continue their winning momentum, while one driver capped off the season by capturing a track championship. Jake McLain, Buddy Schweibinz, and Derek Hagar all picked up victories, while Jade Hastings was crowned the 2025 River Cities Track Champion.
Indian Trail, North Carolina native Jake McLain was on a mission of redemption with the Eastern Coast Super Sprints (ECSS) after a DNF the previous weekend. Determined to prove a point for his No. 67 team, McLain charged from his fourth starting position in the feature event to earn his first win of the season at Carolina Speedway.
Buddy Schweibinz shined once again at the Fred Bitner Memorial, scoring his third career victory at the event with the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series (MASS). Starting from the eighth position, Schweibinz had to put his elbows up and battle his way to the front. It was no easy feat, but the Mid-Atlantic standout skillfully navigated through traffic to take the checkered flag, marking his third win of the season.
Derek Hagar continued his strong campaign, picking up his sixth win of the season with a dominant performance at Riverside International Speedway behind the wheel of his 305ci winged sprint car.
Meanwhile, Jade Hastings continues to build an impressive racing resume. After wrapping up the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association Championship earlier this month, Hastings secured his second River Cities Track Championship, further cementing his place as one of the rising stars in the Great Plains region.
With 51 years of dedication to sprint car racing, J&J Auto Racing continues to be a trusted name in the sport. The recent wins and championship titles are a testament to the performance, reliability, and passion behind every car they build. As the season winds down, their teams are showing no signs of slowing down.
