J&J Auto Racing Closes August with Championships and Feature Wins Nationwide
J&J Auto Racing closed out August on a high note, capturing one track championship, one series championship, and celebrating three feature wins over the final weekend of the month. Jade Hastings kicked off the weekend with a victory in the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association (NOSA) feature at River Cities Speedway, a track he knows like the back of his hand. With this win, Hastings maintains his lead in the NOSA points standings, holding a 64-point advantage over second place.On Saturday night, Mick D’Agostino added his fourth win of the season at New Egypt Speedway with the Northerneast Wingless Sprints (NEWS). The Taunton, Mass. native also clinched his third NEWS Championship at the track,further solidifying his reputation as a top contender in New Jersey. Still putting on a show, Hall of Fame racer Sammy Swindell took the checkered flag at Benton Speedway in Benton, Missouri, behind the wheel of a 410ci J&J Auto Racing chassis. Hailing from Findlay Ohio, Jared Horstman added another championship to his resume by securing his 10th Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) MacAllister CAT Sprint Car Division title in the Michigan region. Horstman also finished second in the overall GLSS Master points standings.
