Pope & Tyre Collect Wins For J&J Auto Racing

Central United States proved to be a hot spot for J&J Auto Racing this past weekend, as two teams picked up wins in Oklahoma and Missouri. Both victories came in the 305ci winged sprint car division, right in the heart of grassroots racing. Dexter, Missouri’s Kenton Pope secured his first win of the season at Benton Speedway, leading a strong showing for J&J Auto Racing. Tyler Newcom followed with a second-place finish, Dylan DeJournett came home fourth, and Drexler Pope rounded out the group in sixth. It was a stacked field, with Pope leading the charge.

Hailing from Kiefer, Oklahoma, Joshua Tyre and his No. 7F team scored their first win of the season at Creek County Speedway. Starting third, Tyre powered his way forward two spots to capture the checkered flag. He now sits second in Champ/305 track points, just behind Blake Edwards.
