Four Teams Deliver Wins for J&J Auto Racing
Mother Nature finally cooperated over the May 1–2 weekend, and five J&J Auto Racing teams made the most of it, driving their J&J chassis straight to Victory Lane. Morgan Havener, Trey Starks, Tyler Clem, and Derek Hagar all picked up wins respectively.
From Piperton, Tennessee, Morgan Havener collected her 32nd career United Sprint Car Series (USCS) victory at North Alabama Speedway. The two-time USCS Champion made her move on lap 17, getting by teammate and longtime J&J Auto Racing customer Terry Gray, and never looked back. J&J Auto Racing capped off the night with an impressive 1–2 finish at North Alabama Speedway.
Trey Starks went back-to-back at Skagit Speedway on Star Wars Night, behind the wheel of his winged 360ci sprint car.Starks and his No. 55 family-owned team advanced five positions in the 30-lap feature, earning his second win of his 2026 campaign.
The Top Gun Sprint Series saw a familiar winner again this season as Tyler Clem earned his third victory of the year at a track that feels like home for him, Hendry County Motorsports Park. Driving his J&J Auto Racing chassis, the Florida native continues to lead the series points standings.
Derek Hagar recently debuted a new product for J&J Auto Racing and made a strong impact, scoring his first win in the team’s new Coil Over Car owned by Shawn Goodno at the Thunderhill Speedway with USCS. The project has been in development for about six years, dating back to April 2020. During that time, J&J Auto Racing has worked alongside multiple drivers and teams to refine and advance the Coil Over Car, with testing and development taking place both in the United States and internationally.Hagar will return to competition this weekend with the American Sprint Car Series at Benton Speedway.
