Bailey & Starks Race To Victory Lane
Mother Nature turned up the heat across much of the United States, but it couldn't slow down J&J Auto Racing teams over the June 26-28 weekend. Corey Bailey and Trey Starks both drove their J&J chassis to Victory Lane, adding two more wins to another successful weekend for the J&J family. Coldwater, Mississippi's Corey Bailey picked up his first victory of the season aboard his 305ci winged sprint car during Riverside Int'l Speedway's weekly racing program. After winning his heat race, Bailey started from the pole position in the 20-lap feature and led every lap on his way to a dominant performance.
Puyallup, Washington's Trey Starks continued his impressive season at Skagit Speedway by earning his seventh victory of the year. Driving for his family-owned and crewed No. 44 team, Starks captured the 360ci winged sprint car weekly division A-Main. Through 18 races this season, Starks has compiled an impressive seven victories, 14 top-five finishes, and 15 top-10 finishes.
