Four Drivers, Four States, One Winning Weekend For J&J Auto Racing
Winning continued to be the theme for J&J Auto Racing teams over the weekend, as four drivers raced to victory in J&J chassis at tracks across South Dakota, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Wyoming. Caleb Saiz, Kenton Pope, Joshua Tyre, and Damon McCune each found victory lane, adding to another successful weekend for J&J customers.
Caleb Saiz kicked off the winning weekend by capturing the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Northern Plains Region feature at Black Hills Speedway in South Dakota. The victory marked the New Mexico driver's first win of the 2026 season and his first career triumph on a half-mile track.
Kenton Pope continued his strong 2026 campaign by collecting his fourth victory of the season at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois, driving his 305ci J&J Auto Racing chassis to another trip to victory lane. Pope's brother, Drexler, also had a strong performance, finishing ninth and earning a top ten finish.
Joshua Tyre followed with his second win of the season, capturing the feature at Creek County Speedway in Oklahoma behind the wheel of his CHAMP 305ci winged sprint car. Another J&J Auto Racing chassis finished inside the top five at Creek County Speedway, with Kody Schander earning a fifth place finish.
Damon McCune and McCune Racing, a long time J&J Auto Racing customer, earned their second win of the season at Sheridan Speedway with the IMCA RaceSaver Series.Christian Kinnison finished second, making it a one-two finish for J&J customers on the Sheridan Speedway podium.
