DeMan And Serbus Score Victories, Weller Impresses at Knoxville
J&J Auto Racing teams found success both internationally and in the United States between August 7–10, with Mack DeMan and Trevor Serbus adding victories to the win column and Josh Weller scoring a feature win during the 360 Nationals at Knoxville Raceway.
Mack DeMan. from Mississauga, ON, kicked off the weekend with a Crate Sprint Car victory at Ohsweken Speedway during the Noelle Teal Memorial. With twin features on the schedule, DeMan captured the win in the opening feature before charging forward five positions in the second feature to earn another podium finish and cap off a strong night in Canada.
Making his first appearance at the famed Knoxville Raceway, Josh Weller turned heads during 360 Knoxville Nationals week. The Mertztown, Pennsylvania driver raced his way to an E-Main victory, earning the transfer into the D-Main. While his run ultimately ended there, Weller put together an impressive showing in his first ever trip to Knoxville, taking on one of sprint car racing’s biggest races without ever having turned a lap at the historic half-mile before the week began.
Olivia, Minnesota’s Trevor Serbus earned his fourth win of the season on one of the biggest stages of the year, capturing the IMCA RaceSaver victory during the Front Row Challenge at Southern Iowa Speedway as part of Knoxville Nationals week. Making his sixth attempt at the event, Serbus had come close before with both second and third-place finishes. This time, he was able to seal the deal and finally add a Front Row Challenge victory to his resume.
