Four J&J Drivers Beat the Heat to Find Victory Lane
It was a hot, muggy, and rainy week across much of the United States from August 11–15, but the conditions didn’t stop four J&J Auto Racing drivers from finding Victory Lane. Garrett Benson, Trevor Serbus, Daren Bolac, and Kenton Pope each picked up victories during the week.
Garrett Benson and Trevor Serbus’ names will forever be etched in Marshalltown Speedway history. After a 37-year absence, sprint cars returned to the Iowa track, with both drivers taking the checkered flag behind the wheel of J&J Auto Racing chassis. Benson captured the 360ci Sprint Car victory, earning his first win of the season, while Serbus claimed the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car win for his fifth victory of the season.
The “Moyoc Missile,” Daren Bolac, earned his first victory of the 2026 racing season at Natural Bridge Speedway with the Virginia Sprint Series. After battling weather delays throughout the night, Bolac and the No. 44V team started on the outside of the front row and never looked back, leading from Lap 1 all the way to the checkered flag.
Dexter, Missouri’s Kenton Pope raced to victory at Benton Speedway, topping the 21-car field in the 20-lap 305ci Winged Sprint Car feature. Pope’s latest trip to Victory Lane added another strong performance to his 2026 season behind the wheel of a J&J Auto Racing chassis.
