J&J Auto Racing Wins Three
J&J Auto Racing dominated in two POWRI series over the weekend of April 14-15. Jake Bubak and Wes Wofford collected victories behind of the wheel of their J&J Auto Racing chassis, respectively.
Colorado native, Jake Bubak, found himself sweeping the weekend with the POWRi Desert Wing Series at Aztec Speedway to kick off his 2023 racing campaign. The two-night special at Aztec Speedway proved to leave the fans on the edge of their seats after night one with Bubak and Carney exchanges sliders for nearly 25-laps before Bubak was able to find clean air and sail to a sweet victory after a hard-fought batter for first. After his battle on night one, Bubak proved that night two with the POWRi Desert series would be no different. Finding himself out front with Carney again, Bubak was able to put down what he picked up from the night before and took the checkered for his second win.
Six hours South of Aztec Speedway, Wes Wofford was taking the checkered flag at Vado Speedway with the POWRi Jackson Compaction 305 Series for the first time this season and his 12th overall series victory. Wes is currently leading the series points with one win and one top-5 finish.
