J&J Auto Racing Drivers Deliver Winning Weekend From Australia To The United States

Mother Nature finally gave the green light, and it paid off in a big way for J&J Auto Racing teams across the United States and beyond. On April 18, Rusty Hickman, Jacob McLain, Terry Gray, and Wes Wofford all found Victory Lane in standout performances.

On the international stage, Rusty Hickman delivered a memorable showing at Avalon Speedway in Lara, Victoria, Australia, where he was crowned King of the Digger’s Cup and also captured the Victorian State Title in 360/LS competition. His third win of the season didn’t come easy. After starting on the pole for the prestigious Digger’s Cup, Hickman slipped back to third early before working his way back through the field and reclaiming the lead to seal the title.

Back in the States, the “Midnight Rider” Jacob McLain picked up the first win of the Carolina Sprint Tour season at Friendship Speedway, a track he knows well and has visited Victory Lane at before.

While in Florida, longtime J&J Auto Racing customer Terry Gray secured the win with the Renegade Sprints SSCA at Blackwater Speedway after a hard-fought weekend. His Terry Gray Racing teammate, Morgan Havener, brought home a solid fourth-place finish in the feature event.

New Mexico native Wes Wofford went flag-to-flag in his No. 19 winged 305ci sprint car, scoring the win close to home at Vado Speedway with friends and family on hand to celebrate with him in Victory Lane.
